MBO (Métaux Blancs Ouvrés) company was founded in 1947

Since then, MBO has been manufacturing and marketing solder wire (also known as welding wire), solder flux (in liquid or gel form), alloys for wave soldering (bars, rods, ingots, shot, anodes, etc.), preforms, soldering pastes and a number of specific products such as peelable masking.

The range of lead-free alloys is compatible with RoHS soldering. However, lead alloys are still available for specific applications. Our products are used in BGA soldering, wave soldering, soldering of printed circuits and electronic components and, more generally, in industrial soldering (capacitors, etc.).

MBO has constantly strengthened its European and international position in order to provide the best possible service to its customers.

The MBO UK sales subsidiary was created in 1988.

In 2002, MBO POLSKA (in Poland), which also has manufacturing facilities, was created.

MBO DOUBLINK (in China) was created in 2006 to meet the needs of customers in Asia.

In 2008, MBO acquired Radiel FONDAM and became the only French manufacturer of tin-based soft solder products.
